AI assistants
Run your store from the AI you already use.
Connect ChatGPT, Claude or your code editor to Talivio Shops once. Then ask for today's orders, the products running low or last month's best sellers, and have it write product texts, fix prices and ship orders. Nothing that touches a price or a customer's inbox happens until you say yes.
Server address: https://shops.talivio.com/mcp
Included in every plan, the free plan and the trial. Whoever may change the store's settings (owners and admins) can connect it.
What your assistant can do
You pick one of three levels when you connect. Read is the default.
Read only
- Products with variants, stock per location, images and SEO
- Orders with their lines, totals, shipping and tracking
- Customers and what they spent, names and e-mails masked
- Sales, orders and average order value for any period, against the period before
- Collections, discount codes, pages, blog posts and the theme
- What needs you now: sold-out and low-stock products, orders to ship, unpaid orders
Read and draft
- Creates products as drafts customers cannot see, with variants and opening stock
- Writes descriptions, translations and SEO titles
- Adds product photos from a link, with alt text
- Drafts pages and blog posts
Read, edit and run the store
- Edits live products, puts them on sale or takes them off
- Changes prices and stock
- Builds collections and creates discount codes
- Marks orders as being prepared, shipped with a tracking number, or completed
- Publishes pages
Ask it
- “What came in today? Which orders are still waiting to be shipped?”
- “Which products are about to run out? Add 20 of the blue mug.”
- “How did last month go compared with the month before? What sold best?”
- “Write a product text and SEO title for the linen towel, in English and Estonian. Keep it a draft.”
- “Make a 15% code AUTUMN15 for the Kitchen collection, valid until Sunday.”
- “Order 1042 left with Omniva, tracking EE123456789. Mark it shipped.”
You stay in charge
- Each connection works on one store, at the level you chose. Read is the default.
- It acts as you: if your team role has no access to orders, neither does the assistant.
- Price changes, putting a product on or off sale, new discount codes, the shipping e-mail and back-in-stock e-mails all wait for your yes in the conversation.
- Customers' names, e-mails, phones and addresses stay masked unless you tick "personal data" when you connect.
- Every change is written to the store's audit log with the assistant's name.
- Refunds, cancellations, payment settings, plans and billing, domains and deleting anything stay in the panel. Disconnect any time under Settings → API & AI.
Set it up
Each assistant below signs in with your Talivio Shops account (OAuth): add the server address, sign in, choose the store and what it may do. Menu names change between app versions; if a step looks different, look for "Connectors", "MCP" or "custom server".
ChatGPT · Web and desktop app
- Open Plugins and choose + → Add custom MCP server.
- Name it Talivio Shops and paste the server address.
- Choose OAuth as authentication, confirm the warning and create it.
- Install the plugin, sign in to Talivio Shops and choose the store and access.
- In a new chat type @Talivio Shops and ask. ChatGPT asks you before a tool that writes runs.
Available on paid ChatGPT plans; in Business and Enterprise an admin may need to allow custom servers.
Claude · claude.ai and the desktop app
- Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Name it Talivio Shops and paste the server address.
- Choose Connect, sign in to Talivio Shops and choose the store and access.
- In a chat, open the tools menu and make sure Talivio Shops is on.
On Team and Enterprise plans an owner may need to add the connector for the organisation first.

Any other client · With a key instead of a sign-in
- In the panel open Settings → API & AI and create an AI key: read only; read and draft; or read, edit and run the store.
- Send it as a header with the server address. For example in Claude Code:
A key acts as the team member who made it, on the store that was open. Keep it secret and disconnect it on the same screen.
