AI assistants

Run your store from the AI you already use.

Connect ChatGPT, Claude or your code editor to Talivio Shops once. Then ask for today's orders, the products running low or last month's best sellers, and have it write product texts, fix prices and ship orders. Nothing that touches a price or a customer's inbox happens until you say yes.

Server address: https://shops.talivio.com/mcp

Included in every plan, the free plan and the trial. Whoever may change the store's settings (owners and admins) can connect it.

What your assistant can do

You pick one of three levels when you connect. Read is the default.

Read only

Read and draft

Read, edit and run the store

Ask it

You stay in charge

Set it up

Each assistant below signs in with your Talivio Shops account (OAuth): add the server address, sign in, choose the store and what it may do. Menu names change between app versions; if a step looks different, look for "Connectors", "MCP" or "custom server".

ChatGPT · Web and desktop app

  1. Open Plugins and choose + → Add custom MCP server.
  2. Name it Talivio Shops and paste the server address.
  3. Choose OAuth as authentication, confirm the warning and create it.
  4. Install the plugin, sign in to Talivio Shops and choose the store and access.
  5. In a new chat type @Talivio Shops and ask. ChatGPT asks you before a tool that writes runs.

Available on paid ChatGPT plans; in Business and Enterprise an admin may need to allow custom servers.

Claude · claude.ai and the desktop app

  1. Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Talivio Shops and paste the server address.
  3. Choose Connect, sign in to Talivio Shops and choose the store and access.
  4. In a chat, open the tools menu and make sure Talivio Shops is on.

On Team and Enterprise plans an owner may need to add the connector for the organisation first.

  2. Start Claude Code, type /mcp, choose talivio-shops and Authenticate.

  3. Ask in the Agent chat.

VS Code · GitHub Copilot in VS Code

  1. Run "MCP: Add Server…" from the Command Palette, choose HTTP and paste the server address, or add the snippet below to .vscode/mcp.json.
  2. Start the server when VS Code asks, then sign in to Talivio Shops.
  3. Use it in Copilot Chat in agent mode.

Gemini CLI · Terminal

  1. Run the command below.
  2. In Gemini CLI run /mcp auth talivio-shops and sign in to Talivio Shops.

Codex · OpenAI Codex CLI and IDE extension

  1. Run the first command to add Talivio Shops.
  2. Run the second to sign in to Talivio Shops in your browser.

Any other client · With a key instead of a sign-in

  1. In the panel open Settings → API & AI and create an AI key: read only; read and draft; or read, edit and run the store.
  2. Send it as a header with the server address. For example in Claude Code:

A key acts as the team member who made it, on the store that was open. Keep it secret and disconnect it on the same screen.
